Health & Lifestyle Coach, Yoga Teacher, & Meditation Facilitator
Sonali is a wholistic nutrition counselor and lifestyle coach who serves in a variety of settings, including universities, medical clinics, corporate offices, gyms, non-profit agencies, vacation retreat centers, private residences, supermarkets and local farmers markets. She conducts hands-on nutrition and meal preparation demonstrations, teaches yoga classes and leads meditation sessions. She has a BA in psychology from Georgia State University and is certified by the Teachers College of Columbia University and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Health Counselor for individuals, families, businesses and community groups.
Sonali is an active social justice advocate; in 2007 she co-founded the Atlanta Transformative Justice Collaborative, a non-profit group that addresses the root causes of violence for social change. Additionally, she serves council of Kindred Healing Justice Collaborative as their leading health and lifestyle expert. She was a national New Voices Fellow and worked community organizer to promote wellness and prevent child sexual abuse and family violence.
